Alex Bowman Receives The Hobey Baker Character Award

Romeo hockey forward Alex Bowman received The Hobey Baker High School Character Award, signifying Character, Commitment, Teamwork, Persistence, Selflessness, Academic Excellence and Sportsmanship. This award is presented to the player that most exemplifies the values and traits of Hobey Baker, America's first hockey star.

Romeo head coach Rich Boggio remarked, "Alex did whatever I asked of him this season without complaint, even if it meant he might not see the same situation during a game. He is a good student, a community volunteer and has helped us in so many ways."

Alex segues to Lacrosse this spring as the team's center-midi and captain. Alex is in the process of sorting College's for Fall 08 attendance.
