William Holland Launch the Copper Bateau Collection



May 1, 2005 -- William Holland is proud to launch the Copper Bateau Collection. Over two years steady progress and development has culminated in a design of generous proportions based on the original romantic French concept of a bath large enough for two.

William Holland hand produces each bath from high quality pure copper, ensuring the bath has its own unique identity. William Holland then finishes each piece to the customers' specification from their own range of applications or patinas.

William Holland's specially selected finishes and lacquers allow the bath to be maintained using only a soft cloth and non-abrasive cleaning products, so there is no need for Brasso and elbow grease!

As well as being a design icon the Copper Bateau bath is both practical and functional owing to the heat retentive qualities of copper which maintains the water temperature for much longer period than its cast iron contemporaries. The Copper Bateau bath only weighs 35kg making it a perfect solution for renovations and projects where weight is an issue.
