The Best Small Bedroom Contest Launches at FurnitureforSmallSpaces.com

Furniture for Small spaces launches a contest, offering prize money and praise to the winner who has turned his or her small bedroom from drab to fab.

Compliments are one of the greatest forms of flattery, but having even a greater sense of achievement can make it even that much more satisfying. And that's where the "Best Small Bedroom" contest steps in.

It offers prize money of $250 and plenty of recognition for the winner with the best small bedroom.

Contest rules are fairly simple. Entering is free. Minimum requirement is that you must have at least 3 photos to enter. All photos should be clear and easy to see. Then simply write a brief paragraph (of at least 5 sentences) on why you think your small bedroom is the best and send it in.

And that pretty much sums it up.

Tameka Norris, the President of the Furniture for Small Spaces website will be judging the entries and choosing the winner personally. But she's quick to mention that it's not only the bedroom itself that will result in who ends up winning.

"The winner will be chosen based on the amount of effort put into their response on how they decorated their small bedroom, as well as how much work was put into decorating the bedroom itself. So, it's not just having a pretty bedroom that counts. I'll be looking at the whole package."

Contest entries are kept low so that all who enter have a high chance of winning.

"Since the prize money is small, we want to make it worth everyone's while." Tameka says. "If the odds of winning are high, it makes up for the small reward. Right now, we just really need the support to grow the website. Those who enter may not realize it, but they're really doing us a big favor. If this contest does well, we'll be able to offer more contests, bigger prizes and valuable content at an alarmingly rate. And that's what the contest is really about. It's about gaining support from contributors so that we can create a bigger and better place for people like them who have small homes and need a lot of help on how to fix their small space trials."

Tameka says she'll be sponsoring the contest herself and reveals that she thinks adding a contest to the site will make it a lot more exciting. "Yes, absolutely! A contest is exactly what the site needs. Right now the site isn't even close to where I want it to be. I think if every visitor could see my vision of the site, they'd really be blown away by my vision on how it will evolve over time."

The deadline for the contest is April 28, 2008 but may be shortened or lengthened if the response rate is too great or too limited. All submissions are taken online at the Furniture for Small Spaces website. The winner will receive payment by check or via Paypal. The contest is open to all who wish to enter. So U.S. residency is not a must.

The contest is strictly online and for anyone interested in entering, they may go to http://www.furniture-for-small-spaces.com/furniture-contest.html for more in-depth details and to submit their entry.
