Designer Digs for Contemporary Canines Bark Deco to Appear at Design within Reach



May 18, 2005 -- Bark Deco, Inc. (www.barkdeco.com), a Los Angeles-based company specializing in luxury dog beds, will be appearing at Design Within Reach's San Diego studio on Thursday, May 19th, to discuss their product line created for upscale modern interiors.

"Mutts and Mousers Meet Modern" will be held from 6-8pm at the San Diego Design Within Reach studio located at 393 7th Avenue.

Bark Deco's debut collection features three sleek styles named after adopted dogs in Ms. de Brevannes' life. The elevated platform beds have exotic wood veneers, upholstery grade foam cushions and washable faux suede covers for easy maintenance.

The debut collection is available in a choice of three wood veneers: wenge, zebrawood and teak. The beds are built with the craftsmanship and attention to detail given to "human-sized" fine furniture. The veneers are applied and finished by hand over the course of several days. Bark Deco beds also feature ventilated platforms and every bed comes with a matching toy bin.

Bark Deco beds are available by custom order at www.barkdeco.com. The company will happily work with special requests (veneers, fabric choices). Although inspired by Chouchou, Ms. de Brevannes' chocolate labrador, Bark Deco beds come in sizes small through extra large.
