Demand for Firepits and Chimeneas Glows Bright

The ash can easily be disposed without creating a mess." Asked about shapes and sizes, the enthusiastic founder of The Cat's PJs said, "Some firepits can be up to 12 feet in diameter."



Chimeneas are a different animal from firepits. Available in a variety of styles and materials, from decoratively engraved cast iron to ethnic clay, they make attractive garden ornaments. Like the firepit, some chimeneas have a grill for cooking meat and vegetables.



Ergonomically designed, firepits and chimeneas have handles for convenient maneuvering them easy and detachable parts to save space in storage. While Mrs Prothero believes, "No home isn't complete without one of these," there are many British families that own neither firepit nor chimenea.
