Wickes Furniture Company Inc. Opens Keizer Oregon Retail Showroom Popular...



Wickes Furniture Company, Inc. (www.wickesfurniture.com), a Sun Capital Investment Company and one of the nation'ss largest furniture retailers, has opened a new retail showroom in Keizer, Oregon - its fourth in the Portland area. The 40,000-square-foot showroom, carrying a full line of furniture set in beautifully coordinated designer room packages, is located at 6365 Ulali Drive NE, in the new Keizer Station retail development.



We'sre proud to be expanding our presence in the greater Portland area, said John Disa, Wickes Furniture CEO. The region - which already includes successful Wickes Furniture stores in Clackamas, Delta Park and Tigard - has been highly supportive of our company. In turn, our goal is to make shopping at Wickes a truly enjoyable experience, and enable our customers to easily and affordably bring to life the homes of their dreams.



Wickes has planned a full schedule of grand opening festivities at the new Keizer showroom June 9 and 10, including a June 9 (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) appearance by celebrity interior designer Michael Payne, star of HGTV'ss hit show Designing for the Sexes. Payne will share design tips, answer consumers's interior design questions, and sign copies of his latest book, Let'ss Ask Michael. A free copy of the book will be given to the first 100 consumers who visit the showroom that day.



Personalities from local radio stations KVMX, KIJZ and KLTH are scheduled to greet consumers on June 9 and 10, giving away free furniture, gift cards, and valuable discounts hourly from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.



The new Keizer state-of-the-art retail showroom features large glass facades, brick, brushed metal, wood trim and other embellishments to showcase Wickes's stylish furniture. Regular showroom hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
