BAM Radio Network and the Gesell Institute Go Live with Gesell Radio

The BAM Radio Network (BRN), a joint project of Moving & Learning and Jackstreet Media, and The Gesell Institute announce the launch of Gesell Radio. The new channel will feature BRN's premier program, Body, Mind and Child (www.bodymindandchild.com) and will promote the institute's mission to educate, guide, and support parents, teachers, and others in understanding child growth and development. Gesell Radio is Nanocasted on the Gesell web site at www.gesellinstitute.org and made available for download to the organization's 50,000 subscribers via podcast.

"To effectively determine their children's unique needs and abilities, parents should understand the stages of a child's growth and development so they can observe and interpret behaviors," said Rae Pica, co-founder of the BAM Radio Network, host of Body, Mind and Child, and a 30-year veteran of in the field of early childhood education. "The Gesell Institute pioneered the field of observation and interpretation of childhood behavior. We are delighted to partner with them," said Pica.

Marcy Guddemi, executive director of the Institute, adds, "The Gesell Institute, an outgrowth of the original Yale Child Study Center (1911), has an almost century-old reputation of helping and educating parents and teachers about child growth and development!
