Kitchen Science Short Listed for NMA Effectiveness Awards

Online kitchen appliance retailer Kitchen Science has been short listed for the Best Retail category at the NMA (NewMediaAge) Effectiveness Awards. The event will be held at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Thursday 28th June 2007, where the best websites will be rewarded for their understanding and implementation of new media.

The 10th Annual NMA Effectiveness Awards will continue the legacy that winners will have been recognised by the biggest new media body available. Judging has become more rigorous over the past few years, with usability testing being incorporated into the criteria, as well as proof of being able to drive ROI and achieve results. Previous winners have included Camelot, Live8, BBC, MSN and MU.tv.

Carys Dorritt, Marketing Manager for Kitchen Science, said, Being short listed for an NMA award is a big achievement for us, and we'sre extremely pleased to get this far. Judging by the quality of past winners the standard of entry is consistently high.

Managing Director Ryan Thomas continued, It definitely won'st be easy for the judges to come to their final decisions. Whatever the outcome, being nominated is justified rewards for all the hard work that the Kitchen Science team has put in. As managing director, I am extremely proud of the results my team has achieved. To demonstrate our understanding of new media, we developed and implemented our own sinks and taps package builder in house, led by our Web Content Manager Omar Musa.

Kitchen Science first launched in October 2005, and has quickly gone on to establish itself as the UK'ss number one online only retailer of premium branded white goods. Kitchen Science is renowned for excellent customer service and some of the most competitive prices available.
