To accommodate growth and provide better customer service Active And Able, Inc. has moved from the office space it shared with a Buffalo Grove (IL) candy maker into a larger office space
in Northbrook, Illinois. A company spokesman reports that the larger office space will allow Active And Able to expand its staff for short term needs such as the coming Christmas rush and
will, in the longer term, allow for growth of its permanent staff as well. The added warehouse space will allow Active And Able to stock larger quantities of the items already offered
resulting in fewer stock-outs and, therefore, better service. The new space will also allow the company to expand on the more than 300 aids to daily living (http://www.activeandable.com) and assistive devices, also known as aids to daily living, to the growing number of those who contend with minor disabilities. These disabilities
include low vision, decreased hearing, arthritis and lack of mobility. Active And Able has gathered products for all these areas into its website and catalog because many of its customers
find themselves needing help multiple areas. While most of the company's customer's are senior citizens a significant portion of their customers are members of the "sandwich generation"
