Advanced First Aid Supplies Meets Personal Business Needs

Advanced First Aid Supplies has turned one year old, and the one-year anniversary of the first aid kit supply site is marked by the opening of its new online blog, www.AdvancedFirstAidBlog.com.

"I got into first aid supplies because that's something I've always had a problem finding myself," explains Rodney Scott, an avid outdoorsman with a background in construction -- two hobbies which have contributed to his appreciation for a well-stocked first aid kit. The business has grown over the course of the last year to provide over 500 items, including not only kits but individual components for restocking a kit.

Selection has always been important to Rodney, as has quality. He says, "I did a lot of research, looking at different manufacturers. Most manufacturers don't sell direct; they sell wholesale to people like me. I represent three different manufacturers who I felt had the best to choose from. Most sites I've seen sell one manufacturer's products, but I couldn't always find what I wanted from one manufacturer, so I'm giving people options and making certain I have a more complete selection."

Rodney plans on using his blog to explain his selection and product applications to customers, as well as provide them with additional information. "I'd like to address new products to people, and also use the blog as a service for new techniques," he explains. "What I thought I might do is give information on how to take care of an injury in different situations, like what to do if you have a broken arm and aren't near a hospital."

In the coming year Rodney says he'd like to look into providing a distributorship for localities and provide delivery and restocking services to his customers.
