Miller's inspiration for steering children's creative sensibilities not only stems from her own upbringing in a large family, but her own family as well: "When I got married, my husband had three children and they all wanted their rooms decorated. I think you will find that kids stretch your creativity to the max," said Miller. "I found that I really enjoyed creating a fun, colorful place for the kids and asking them what they wanted and what they saw as their theme. In that way, the business chose me."
With varied pieces such as bedding, wall art and several personalized products, www.CreativeKidsDecor.com has every little piece of home
dcor that a child's room may need. Even small accent pieces like wallies are available through Miller's site.
But she's not stopping there. "Right now, I am looking at adding additional themed items -- maybe even doing a different store that would focus on teenagers," explained Miller. "I'm also
in the process of writing e-books related to decorating."
With her books in mind, Miller has also expanded into the world of blogging with a companion site, www.CreativeKidsDecorBlog.com. "The
blog will explore the different types of decorating ideas and it will also show people what is available on the website. It'll be both informational and promotional."
In the end, Miller's knowledge of large family life has driven her to start a store that offers a myriad of options at reasonable prices, all the while flexing the creative brain muscles
of both parents and children alike.
