The magic of a sneeze is revealed in the new children's8217;s fantasy, Eddie Has Allergies, by Judd Lear Silverman, published by Ernest Silliman Books in conjunction with Lulu (www.lulu.com), the world's8217;s fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books.
Did you know there was magic in a sneeze Eddie finds out all about the power of a sneeze -- and how one'ss differences can actually be a plus -- in Eddie Has Allergies, a funny tale of
the sinus-challenged and the fantasies the afflicted can sometimes encounter. Poor Eddie spends most of the year under the weather, due to horrible allergies that keep him from doing what
most kids like to do. And the medicines he takes usually make him even groggier, leading him to fall asleep in class, resulting in rather bizarre dreams. He feels like he'ss alone in this
nightmare -- until a magical mentor helps him discover a bright side to his dilemma. Prose, poetry, and silly puns thread their way through this humorous tale, where a young boy finds
there is greatness in everyone, including himself. This book is entertaining for all ages, but will particularly appeal to ages 9-12.
's8220;I had terrible allergies as a kid,'s8221; says author Silverman, 's8220;with a zillion trips to the allergist for shots and frequent days home from school. I would drift off in
class, uncertain whether it was my sinuses or the antihistamines making me zone out's8212;which made no difference, because ultimately I was somewhere on another planet! Yet, the way my
imagination compensated certainly helped shape who I am today.'s8221;
Ernest Silliman Books, publisher of Eddie Has Allergies, launches with this publication. ESB is dedicated to printing 's8220;the unusual book,'s8221; one that reaches beyond the scope of
the 's8220;tried-and-true's8221; in the marketplace. 's8220;Kids especially are interested in exploring different realities, different humors and different tastes,'s8221; says Silliman.
's8220;'sEddie Has Allergies's reflects that no one's8217;s imagination is like anyone else's8217;s's8212;and yet we can all identify with each other.'s8221;
