Pet Guardian Angels of America (PGAA) - www.pgaa.com and has responded to an average of 60-90 e-mail per month, from around the country, relating to pet adoption and rescue as well as to questions regarding pet care and welfare.
The majority of these e-mails are asking for help in find a pet through a breeder or a rescue, or to place a pet into a rescue/shelter program. We maintain and display a large database of
rescue agencies listed by state, and also provide direct assistance via e-mail."We help people find pets and pets find people."
The balance of the e-mails cover questions ranging from pet care and training to reporting suspected pet abuse. We respond to all e-mails received with direct answers when possible, or by
referring the sender to a more informative source.
While the primary emphasis of the site, and the e-mails, is on dogs and cats we also have special sections devoted to small mammal pets (hamsters, ferrets, guinea pigs, etc.);
fish/reptiles (aquariums, aquarium fish, snakes, turtles, lizards, etc.) and domestic birds.
Each of PGAA's five pet categories feature: General Articles, Health Articles, Links, and Book Suggestions. The Dog and Cat categories also include breed descriptions and breed selection
guides.
On the main page we feature a "What's New" page that keeps our readers up-to-date on new information placed on the site. The site is updated on almost a daily basis.
You will find the site very user friendly with navigational buttons readily available to take you back and forth at ease.
