Taoist Master, inspiring teacher and author of over twenty books, Mantak Chia has, perhaps more than any other living master, changed the lives of ordinary people. In his great work as
healer and teacher, Chia founded the system known as the 's8220;Healing's8221; or 's8220;Universal Tao's8221; so sharing the Taoist arts from Tantra to Tai Chi with the world.
He was born in Bangkok to Chinese parents in 1944. His father was a Baptist minister - the first break in many generations of Taoist Healers. In a land of Buddhism, with strong Hindu,
animist and shamanic influences, Mantak Chia was brought up as a Christian - but was initiated at the age of 6 into meditation practices by local Buddhist monks. His pursuit of Taoist
teachings led him to Master Yi Eng - White Cloud - in the mountains near Hong Kong and the ancient hermit instructed young Chia to open their secret traditions to the West.
In 1996, after twenty years in the West, he founded the Tao Garden, his home and a healing and meditation centre in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand, from where he travels the world
spreading the warmth, clarity and humour that make his teachings so enjoyable.
November 4th sees the first of three powerful workshops, at the Columbia Hotel, Lancaster Gate, London W2, with 's8220;Learning to Heal your Self.'s8221; This workshop gives simple and
powerful tools to unleash the healing power within.
His second workshop, 's8220;Awakening Spirit,'s8221; over the weekend 5/6th November, offers new material derived from ancient secrets designed to awaken the original spirit of man; free
of karmic clutter and the conditioning of this mundane dimension.
The third workshop is a 4-day Cosmic Healing Practitioner Certification Course, running from Monday 7th through to Thursday 10th November, when this living Taoist Master transmits the
secrets of non-contact power-healing: QiGong Therapy or Taoist Colour Healing. Connecting with the etheric energy-centres and the brains of the organs - which receive impressions and
store energy just like the brain in the head - allows healing of the organic aura.
An inspiring and accessible speaker, Mantak Chia has taught thousands of students the principles of Taoist internal practice. He understands what we do not and by integrating esoteric
learning with western anatomy and physiology, he creates a unique view of the sacred practices that makes sense and that works for westerners.
Workshops must be booked in advance. For tickets and information call 0700 078 1195, email e-mail protected from spam bots or visit http://www.healing-tao.co.uk
