Memorial Health System Signs with Geonetric on WOW Collaboration Project



Memorial Health System, a national leader in innovation and service in the healthcare industry, has selected Geonetric to implement a customized version of VitalSite's Collaboration Suite to support the innovation efforts of their WOW! program. Based on the work of Tom Peters, the WOW! Program provides the education and framework for a structured innovation program within the Memorial organization. The VitalSite Collaboration Suite will enable Memorial to streamline the idea-generation tracking process, enabling them to take the best advantage of their WOW! program. VitalSite will provide Memorial with a toolset to support the WOW! innovation teams by improving team communications, streamlining the collaborative working process, providing greater visibility into the innovation process for Innovation leaders (Idea Mongers) and supplying executive-friendly rollups to summarize all of the WOW! activity for the organization.



The VitalSite Collaboration Server improves the effectiveness of team project work by improving team communication, project management and reporting on project portfolio tracking. With the ever-increasing focus on team project work that exists today, the efficiency of project teams has become a critical factor in overall organization success. Geonetric made several modifications to Collaboration Server to tailor it to the specific needs of the WOW! Project, including class registration for the public, Belbin test to assess the personality of WOW! team members and auto-nag to remind the team to keep the project moving. The six-month project will kick off in late September.
