Swisslog Releases White Paper for USP Chapter 797 Clean Room Applications...



Swisslog, a leading provider of pharmacy automation solutions for hospitals, released a white paper on a U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) Chapter 797 solution for automated drug storage and retrieval from a pharmacy'ss ante room using the BoxPicker system.



The BoxPicker automated storage and retrieval system serves the central pharmacy as the primary storage and bulk medication warehouse, as well as provides secure access to all supplies and medications needed by the clean room. Secure access to supplies and medications is available through a workstation situated on either side of the BoxPicker, e.g., the ante room and the pharmacy. The system is installed completely enclosed and flush with the ante room to ensure proper ISO compliance.
