OrlandoArea Resort Searches for Families with Outstanding Dads

Gaylord Palms Resort is offering an opportunity for family members to honor their father in a unique way this Father'ss Day weekend.







The resort, located five minutes from Walt Disney World theme parks, is hosting a Fathers of the Year weekend, including a special ceremony to honor dad for his hard work and dedication. At the Sunday-morning ceremony, all honored fathers will be introduced and given a commemorative Fathers of the Year certificate.



The resort package also includes a Florida-view guest room, and an optional Sunday Brunch at Villa de Flora, voted the best Sunday Brunch in the state by readers of Florida Monthly magazine.



Gaylord Palms Resort features innovative family-friendly facilities, the Coquina Dunes executive putting course, and colorful Florida themes that carry throughout a soaring 4.5-acre glass-topped atrium and into each of the 1,406 guest rooms.



Guests can also experience what'ss new at Orlando'ss world-famous theme parks, including Believe the new killer whale show at SeaWorld Orlando, the refurbished Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disney'ss Magic Kingdom, Finding Nemo - The Musical at Disney'ss Animal Kingdom, and Blue Man Group at Universal Orlando.



This package is available June 15-18, 2007 and is subject to availability. The package price (per night) varies based on the length of stay: $183 plus tax per night for 3-night stay; $187 plus tax per night for 2-night stay; and $198 plus tax per night for 1-night stay.Sunday Brunch is optional, and is not included in package price.
