Sundance Vacations to be Honored at The Sixth Annual American Business...



Sundance Vacations has been selected as a finalist in two categories, Best Sales Team and Best New Product for the 2008 Stevie Awards.



Known as "the business world's version of the Oscars" (New York Post, April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the only all-encompassing national awards program honoring great performances in business. R.S. Owens, the same company that designs the Oscar, Clio and other major awards also designs the elegant Stevie trophy.



Companies as diverse as Accenture, Acxiom Corporation, Harrah's Entertainment, KV Pharmaceutical, and Teamwork Athletic Apparel are among those vying for Stevie Awards. Complete lists of Finalists in all categories are available at www.stevieawards.com/aba.



During more than five weeks of preliminary judging, each nomination was reviewed and rated by business professionals nationwide. More than 2,600 entries were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Most Innovative Company, Best Executive, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and Best New Product or Service.



Stevie winners will be announced during a gala event at New York's Marriott Marquis Hotel on Thursday June 12. Harrisburg Sales Directors, Mike and Barbara Kasper will represent Sundance Vacations for Best Sales Team, and VIP Program Manager, Christina Allen will represent Sundance Vacations for Best New Product. "To be nominated for an award like this considering the talent pool in all the other offices is amazing. Having come together so quickly we truly feel honored and blessed. It would be the ultimate to take home the Stevie," said Barbara Kasper.



Sundance Vacations is a travel company that specializes in wholesale vacation accommodations. The company is headquartered in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and maintains offices in six other locations including; Rockaway, NJ; Princeton, NJ; King of Prussia, PA; Harrisburg, PA; Downers Grove, IL, and Brookfield, WI.
