Best Employment Website Trends Detailed in New Report from the Web Marketing Association

"As the standard of excellence for websites continues to increase, consumers (and WebAward judges) are increasingly picky about what they consider to be an effective website," said William Rice, president of the Web Marketing Association, Inc. The WebAwards competition judges employment websites on seven criteria that combined create award-winning websites:

- Technology

- Interactivity

- Copywriting

- Ease of use

Employment web sites matched the ISAR index in 2007. Prior to this, they outperformed the index 7 out of the ten years with their highest scores coming from the earlier years of the index. Employment Web sites matched the 5-year criteria benchmark average in the copywriting and ease of use areas. These sites are strongest in content, copywriting, and ease of use.

The 2007 WebAward winner for Best Employment website went to JWT Employment Comm for FedEx Air Ops Microsite.
