VerifyX Responds to News of Talx Settlement with FTC



Equifax, Talx and The Work Number to settle of charges of unfair business practices with the FTC, according to Jeffrey Schmidt, director of the FTC's Bureau of Competition, in a complaint (File No. 061 0209) filed by the FTC. TALX has agreed to stop enforcing certain non-compete agreements with its current and past employees. The company must also allow customers with multi-year contracts to terminate those contracts with only 90 days' notice.
