His diverse career includes Online Web 2.0 Communities, Marketing, Research and Development and IT. He also teaches at the University of Louisville and has held positions as CTO and CIO of publicly traded companies. He is educated in both India and the US, holding the degrees of Ph.D., university of Louisville; MBA, University of Louisville; MS, Biochemical Engineering, NITK, India; BS, Chemical Engineering, Karnataka University, India.
