Business Advice From Top Guru Now Available Online for Free
May 13, 2005 -- Change management consultants use leading-edge technology as well as traditional business improvement techniques, so it will be come as no surprise to find such a top consultant launching his own "blog".
Tim Franklin, Managing Director of Ambiance Consulting Ltd, and one of the UK's leading business advisers and public speakers in the field of organisational culture and change management has recently launched his web blog.
A web blog is an internet diary where personal and business recollections and advice are freely available for the public to read. This can be found at http://blogs.ardice.com/ambiance/
The first diary entry reflects on the leadership skills encountered by Tim, a seasoned business advisor currently researching organisational culture and performance at Doctoral level, within various types of organisations.
Tim, who has already written books on business improvement for the Department of Trade & Industry's Manufacturing Advisory Service for the South East, is currently writing a further guide book for them. He is also working on a joint project for the Horticultural Trades Association and Engineering Employers' Federation Southern Region, editing a book exploring the application of traditional "lean manufacturing" tools and techniques in the horticultural sector.
Follow the trial and tribulations of writing and editing such important books in Tim's blog.
Notes to Editors:
Tim Franklin, MBA - Managing Director, Ambiance Consulting Ltd.
Tim's pet subject is organisational culture and change. During his career working for an American Multinational, a UK PLC, a venture capital backed start-up, an employers association, together with two of his own businesses, Tim initially developed a curiosity concerning the working 'atmosphere' within businesses, and how this appeared to affect the way they operated, and performed. After leading change programmes himself, Tim embarked upon a masters degree, and is currently studying organisational culture & performance at Doctoral level. Tim has been helping organisations over the last three years to assess their cultures, to help create cultures that are more conducive to business improvement and change. www.ambianceconsulting.co.uk
