Atlantas Latin American Association Selects Leadership Search Firm...



The award-winning nonprofit Latin American Association continues to provide a wide array of programs and services that focus on youth academic achievement, education and prevention, and assistance to families with urgent needs while searching for a new Executive Director. The critical management position is open and the Atlanta-based executive search firm, Aldebaran Associates, has been retained to secure qualified candidates for consideration.



The success of the Latin American Association (LAA) is reflected both in the number of individuals and families served in metro-Atlanta (almost 60,000 in 2007) and by the wide range of programs offered to help families achieve their aspirations for academic, social and economic advancement. The complex social and economic issues confronting Georgia and the growing Hispanic sector mark a time of transition in the community. Such challenging times make the smooth leadership transition for this vital community organization even more important. The LAA Board of Directors has retained Aldebaran Associates International to identify qualified candidates for the position.



Foremost in the candidate's qualifications must be a strong commitment to serve, personal goals that resonate with those of the LAA, and an executive skill set to match.
