Burson-Marsteller announced today that public relations liaison Erick Laseca will be rejoining their top tourism account, the Mexico Tourism Board (MTB), handling the client's8217;s
Midwest interests. Laseca, who was in charge of the account's8217;s Southeastern region from its Florida office, will now be located in the MTB headquarters in downtown Chicago.
Contracted to work for this client exclusively, Laseca will play a key role as media consultant for the MTB's8217;s regional Director, Eduardo Chaillo, who heads operations for eight
offices in North America, including five in the United States and three in Canada.
Laseca is responsible for coordinating press conferences, attending media tours throughout Mexico and writing speeches and other press material for the Tourism Board.
Laseca left Burson-Marsteller to join eNR Services, Inc. in Chicago where he was responsible for strategy development and client relations for its NewsWire One division.

Prior to joining eNR, Laseca worked for Thorp & Company in Coral Gables, FL, as spokesperson for the Miami International Boat Show and media credentials manager for the NASDAQ-100

He graduated with honors from the University of Miami, where he was an active member of several volunteer outreach organizations, with a double major in public relations and international
studies, and a minor in marketing.
