David Powell Appointed Vice President of Human Resources for APXAlarm

APX Alarm (www.apxalarm.com), one of the nation'ss largest residential security alarm companies, today announced the appointment of David Powell to the position of Vice President of Human Resources.

Powell will oversee all human resource activities, including HR policies, compensation, employee benefits, corporate recruiting and training, ensuring APX will continue to attract and retain world-class talent. Powell brings more than 15 years of human resources management experience working in both large and medium sized technology companies.

We are extremely fortunate to add David Powell to our senior management team, said Alex Dunn, Chief Operating Officer of APX Alarm. David is a seasoned professional uniquely qualified for the role of leading and managing our HR organization as we seek to expand the next level of growth at APX.

Before joining APX Alarm, Powell served in HR leadership positions at Novellus Systems, Savi Technology, Crossbow Technology and Blue Coat Systems.

Powell received his B.S. degree in Applied Sociology from Brigham Young University and a Masters Degree in Organization Behavior from the University of Hartford.
