Improved Experience and The Human Capital Institute have jointly announced the establishment of an Executive Council for Strategic Talent Acquisition. The kickoff meeting for the Council will be held in San Francisco on June 8th, immediately prior to HCI's8217;s Strategic Talent Acquisition Conference on June 9-10.



HCI Executive Councils are invitation-only roundtables of senior human capital and business executives. Each council is organized around a core talent management or business strategy issue, and offers its members a unique blend of thought leadership, practical ideas, peer-driven research, and collaborative learning. The Executive Council for Strategic Talent Acquisition will focus on developing and strengthening strategic competencies and capabilities in corporate recruiting and talent acquisition leaders.

Council membership allows each company the election of two senior leaders to participate in and influence the discussion of best and next practices in the acquisition of today's8217;s top talent. In addition to the meeting in San Francisco, Council members will also receive access to a second in-person event, four webinars, and two research projects. Council members, which currently include companies such as Tivo, ATK Systems, DaVita, MultiCare, Johnson 's38; Johnson, and Wachovia, strongly influence the selection of topics for events and research.



The agenda for the June Council meeting includes case studies, presentations, and an interactive discussion format around the following topics:
