QU, through its dedicated chapter members coast to coast, is leading the charge to restore the natural habitat of wild quail, working with private landowners as well as state and federal agencies across the country with unprecedented partnerships. By putting on local events and fundraisers, QU chapters raise conservation dollars that are then used for on the ground projects in their area.
"It is an extreme privilege to be able to join an organization that is the leader in quail and upland game conservation in this country. The ability to help change the environment for the better, working with QU, its members and sponsors is personally a challenge I accept with dedicated enthusiasm" expressed Ron Moore. "Growing up in Bath, NC, the oldest town in NC, the respect for our hunting heritage and wildlife preservation runs deep and now to be able to be a pro-active board member of QU allows me to do all that I can to preserve it for generations to come" stated Moore. Moore will attend the Heartland Wildlife Exposition at the Overland Park Convention Center, in Overland Park, Kansas, July 18th to the 22nd and will be looking forward to meeting members, sponsors and attendees.
