Millner Wins Prestigious Ernst Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Thomas L. Millner, Chief Executive Officer, Remington Arms Company, Inc., was honored last night as a recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award 2008 in the Carolinas. Recognized for his exceptional leadership role in the Retail & Consumer Products category, Millner received his award with other honorees at the gala event held in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"Tommy, since joining Remington in 1994, has been the guiding force at the helm of this nearly 200 year-old company," stated E. Scott Blackwell, Remington's President of Global Sales, Marketing and Product Development. "Under his leadership, Remington has achieved an historic sixth-straight year as the number one manufacturer of long guns; he has served as dynamic force within our industry; and his vision and uncompromised commitment have steered the company to achieve record success."

Selected by an independent judging panel, comprised of regional business, academic and civic leaders, the winners of these most prestigious awards are selected from an exceptional group of entrepreneurs throughout North and South Carolina for their extraordinary vision, leadership and achievements. Regional award winners are eligible for consideration in the Ernest & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008 national program. The recipients of the individual national category awards, as well as the overall entrepreneur award winner, will be announced at the annual gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 15, 2008.
