Quail Unlimited Announces New Director of Marketing and Public Relations

Quail Unlimited (QU), America's8217;s leader in quail conservation, announced today the addition of Craig A. Alderman to their staff as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

He brings a unique and specialized skill set in working with marketing and sponsorship programs especially in the conservation and wildlife management areas. His passion for quail and wildlife management is reflected in the book he wrote entitled Habitat Management Using ATVs and Compact Equipment and the habitat seminars he teaches, which extend to his own property as he practices private land management. 's8220;Working with ESPN, Craig negotiated and managed some of the largest sponsorship programs in the outdoor industry and helped create and fund conservation grant programs for the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (BASS),'s8221; continued Evans, 's8220;We could not be more excited that Craig will now help QU continue the 25 years of leading quail habitat projects through its local chapters.'s8221;



QU, through its dedicated chapter members coast to coast, is leading the charge to restore the natural habitat of wild quail, working with private landowners as well as state and federal agencies across the country with unprecedented partnerships. By putting on local events and fundraisers, QU chapters raise conservation dollars that are then used for on the ground projects in their area.

In fact, it is because of Quail Unlimited that I am so personally involved with habitat management today.I saw the work they were doing many years ago when no one else fought for the quail and its dwindling habitat, and knew I had to do my part,'s8221; Alderman concluded.



Quail Unlimited is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the restoration of habitat for wild quail. Its almost 300 chapters nationwide raise local project dollars for on-the-ground projects, including private and public land management with banquets, auctions, sporting clay events and more.
