Sinus Buster Sponsors Biathlon Twins With Olympic Dreams

Sinus Buster, the world'ss first hot pepper nasal spray has announced a sponsorship agreement with two U.S. Biathlon (http://www.usbiathlon.org) teammates who are on a hot streak of their own. While identical twins Tracy and Lanny Barnes, may be the picture of sweetness with flowing blond hair and big smiles, they'sre also fierce competitors in one of the toughest sports going. Since competing in the 2006 Winter Olympics, the twins have been tearing up the Biathlon circuit with top rankings. Now they have their sights set on 2010.

Olympic caliber Biathletes race through mountainous courses, skiing through designated loops. At the end of each loop, they must instantly control their heart rate and breathing to skillfully fire .22 caliber rifle rounds into tiny targets from challenging distances. Once they'sve hit the target, the athletes shoulder their rifles, and race to the loop multiple times, stopping to shoot at the end of each run. If they miss their target, competitors are penalized with extra loops for every missed shot. The fastest time wins in this grueling sport that requires athletic endurance, speed, strategy and concentration.

Raised in Colorado, the twins have been skiing and shooting since they were young girls. Their father taught them to shoot at eight years old, and they'sve been hooked on shooting competitively ever since. Destined to become diehard competitors, Lanny and Tracy went on to discover the Biathlon in their teens.

In 2002, the Barnes twins (http://www.twinbiathletes.com) began competing in Biathlon events, and in 2006 they made the U.S. Winter Olympic team which placed 15th in the world. Since then, the twins have been training hard for their second shot at Olympic gold. During the winter, they'sre skiing and shooting all over the globe, and during the summer they run, bike and roller-ski across America preparing for the winter racing season.

According to Lanny Barnes, performing at high altitudes in extreme temperatures can wreak havoc on the sinuses, Most of the courses we compete on are at high elevations where it'ss harder to breathe. We'sre also out in the wilderness with lots of allergy triggers from all kinds of weeds and dust, so both of us suffer from sinus problems. Since we can'st take the chance of ingesting chemicals to relieve our congestion and headaches, we have to rely on natural alternatives. When we discovered Sinus Buster I was skeptical of putting hot pepper nasal spray up my nose, but once I tried it - I'sve never used anything else.

Nothing clears me out and wakes me up like my Sinus Buster. I can'st think of training or racing a Biathlon without it. My breathing is great thanks to Sinus Buster, adds Tracy Barnes.

Although both twins swear by Sinus Buster, Lanny uses the classic Sinus formula while Tracy goes for the Allergy formula. As the sisters prepare for a potential history making finish in this year'ss Biathlon World Cup events in Sweden and Austria, they'sre relying on Sinus Buster to help them finish on top. If either twin grabs a top spot, it will be the first time an American has earned a medal at the World Cup. Regardless of their performance, the Barnes twins are favored as potential medal winners at the 2010 Winter Olympics (http://www.vancouver2010.com) in Vancouver, Canada.

According to Wayne Perry, the product'ss developer, Lanny and Tracy provided an excellent sponsorship opportunity for Sinus Buster, Lanny and Tracy have been using Sinus Buster for a long time. One day they sent us an email testimonial, and their story really grabbed us. We decided to sponsor their journey to the 2010 Olympics. They'sre incredible athletes, and we'sre proud to be able to give them some help as they go for the gold.

The Sinus Buster sponsorship announcement comes as the twins prepare for their trip to the World Cup sheduled during the first two weeks of December. With both sisters favored to take top spots, they may both make history, and thanks to Sinus Buster (http://www.sinusbuster.com) they'sll be breathing easier while they do it.
