Computer Kiddies of Manalapan recently announced an innovating training methodology for children ages 7-12 to help teach keyboarding and word processing and an age-appropraite manner.
In response to the requests of many parents who want their children to learn a combination of keyboarding and word processing, Computer Kiddies developed a hybrid program designed to
teach students each skill.Delivered in one hour segments, students alternate between touch typing exercises and a variety of word processing tutorials. This helps to keep their young
minds stimulated and challenged during the learning process as they shift gears and focus very frequently throughout the learning process.
The unique Computer Kiddies process of shifting gears and varying the educational content and delivery, switching learning techniques between repetition, games, problem solving
activities, and computer simulations, helps keep the students engaged in the activities they are completing. This in turn naturally enhances the learning process and effectiveness of the
training which is being delivered.
We strongly recommend these teaching methods to any parent who would like their child to begin learning how to use a word processing package in a productive manner.
