Popular Guide to Nikon Capture NX Upgraded to Support Version 1.3

Photographer Jason P. Odell, Ph.D., author of the popular eBook, The Photographer's Guide to Capture NX, has announced the release of a second supplement. This new, 57-page addendum to the original "Photographer's Guide" offers an in-depth explanation of the latest version of Nikon's professional image editing and raw conversion software, Capture NX 1.3.

Capture NX 1.3 offers substantially new controls and features for processing Nikon RAW files, and is the only version of Capture NX to support raw files from the new Nikon D3 and D300 DSLRs. The newest feature in Capture NX 1.3 is called "Picture Control", and this feature is covered in-depth by the eBook supplement. "Picture Control is a completely different interface from what was available in previous versions of Capture NX," says Dr. Odell. "Nikon DSLR shooters need to have the latest information about the software they use, and this update to my eBook will help them make the transition from Capture NX 1.2 to 1.3."
