Riverstone Implements WebBased File Tracking and Color Coding System...



FileTrail, Inc., the leader in Web-based records management software, today announced implementation for Riverstone, a provider of world-wide run-off management services, specialized claims handling, reinsurance collection, and other consulting services.



Riverstone was previously using a Windows-based Opus32 system to automate creation, color coding, and tracking of files in four key divisions. Riverstone was limited in the use of their system by the daunting task of installing at 275 workstations. As a result, use of the system was generally limited to staff in the various file rooms.



The acquisition of new business in Dallas, San Diego and San Francisco created additional issues with the legacy software as well. As a Windows-based application is required use of the company's already over-burdened wide-area network.



Riverstone now utilizes their FileTrail solution as an enterprise-wide application. Staff in all offices have access to the automation functionality that they need - and response time is fast as FileTrail can use the public internet.



FileTrail produces color coded labels to match the existing labels. In addition, FTConnect - FileTrail's powerful integration and synchronization tool - provides a reliable, always on, mechanism for loading and updating key information with upstream system resources.
