Texas Insurance Company Automates File Tracking

FileTrail, Inc., the leader in Web-based records management software, today announced the migration of Texas General Agency to FileTrail.



The company was previously using the Windows-based File Tracker system to automate active tracking of claims files among 285 staff. Data volumes were continually growing and the application was not able to support an enterprise-class database nor a browser-based interface.



The company uses their FileTrail solution as a office-wide application. All staff have access to search and locate files without leaving their desks. Bar code scanners and desktop functions allow files to be moved easily through processing steps. FileTrail's 100% PureWeb interface minimized training and is ideal for high-turnover clerical areas.



The company immediately adopted FTMobile - FileTrail's portable records management platform - acquiring four units in the first order. FTMobile helps staff perform tracking activities while roaming the office, and allows audits to be easily performed on the production floor.
