Travel Insured International Clarifies Terrorism Coverage

Current events in the Israeli city of Haifa have raised concerns regarding the terrorism benefits included in many of Travel Insured's8217;s travel protection plans including our Worldwide Trip Protector and Worldwide Trip Protector Gold.



Many of our travel protection plans provide coverage due to terrorism in a city on the passenger's8217;s itinerary. For those passengers who booked travel to cities in Israel or Lebanon directly impacted by the Israeli-Hezbollah conflict and who purchased their travel protection plan prior to the rocket attack in Haifa on July 13th, 2006, coverage will apply under the specific terms and conditions of the plan they have purchased.



Following the rocket attack of July 13, Travel Insured International has concluded that future terrorist acts are no longer considered as unforeseen in Israel and Lebanon. Therefore, plans purchased after July 13, 2006 will not provide coverage under the terrorism provision for passengers traveling to those countries.
