April 27, 2005 -- With Orange County Real Estate riding a tide of increasing value coupled with the barage of conflicting reports about its future, The OC Investor, a Real Estate Investment Club for Orange County Residents, provides education and promotes sound investing principles through weekly workshops and monthly events. The club has a tiered Membership that includes a variety of benefits ranging from free admission at events to advertising space in Member Newsletters. With the goal of enlightening the novice and still providing valuable resources to the professional, The OC Investor is an energetic and ambitious club.

Poised to create an investment and business network second-to-none in Southern California, The OC Investor will hold its premiere event on July 28, 2005 entitled "Is Your Family's Bubble About to Burst." There will be a Keynote presentation discussing market trends and financial issues affecting Orange County, a Q&A period and a free OC Investor Wellness Kit for each attendee.

In addition to its Real Estate focus, The OC Investor will also strive to promote philanthropic issues. The Club will have an Awareness Sponsor at each event, donating a portion of the proceeds to a chosen charity. The first Awareness Sponsor will be The Lance Armstrong Foundation and each attendee to join the club at the July event will receive a "LIVESTRONG" bracelet.

While most other investment clubs are small, pragmatic and technical in their presentations, OC Investor seeks to expand investor's knowledge of Real Estate by demystifying the finer points and providing a forum for like minded people and seasoned industry experts to meet and discuss Real Estate topics.

Bo, a self professed entreprenuer and Mortgage Banker by day, got involved in Real Estate investment after purchasing his first property in 1999 and has been running full steam ahead ever since. His motivation is his wife Ana and their twin 3-year-old daughters. When asked what prompted him to start his own investment club, Bo answered "A lot of people, like me, don't feel they have the knowledge-and-courage to start investing on their own. The OC Investor will help people to overcome their inexperience and take charge of their future."
