Craze Productions and Equal Mobile Launch New Music Service on Sky

Craze Productions, using the wap services of Equal Mobile, have launched a new, revolutionary Music, Ring tones, Video Downloads, Video Ring tones and Digital Downloads service in the UK. Available through Sky's8217;s recently launched business Portal, Sky Net, the new service will be available to almost 25 million daily viewers. The service is in its beta version and the formal launch is scheduled for October 2006.



Within the portal, a Sky viewer can use their remote control to tap in 1818 (Craze Sky Key Unique Number) to access the Craze dedicated site. From here all of the available music and video services can be immediately downloaded to the viewer's8217;s mobile phone.



The service is a sharp contrast to the Red button system, available on many TV channels, it's8217;s like a full service web site within SKY and enables the viewer to do full web surfing and 's8217;buying's8217; within Sky TV channels. Currently, it's8217;s possible to see the music or ring tones and their descriptions on this system and information how to buy the music via mobile music short codes, with the possibility in the future of buying the music direct from the TV-Interactive channel.



The service is also available via the 's8217;Hot Menu's8221; on the Sky Interactive Portal.



The 's8220;Craze Sky Music Channel's8221; already features the UK's8217;s Top 20 singles chart, along with songs and videos from the biggest names in Hip Hop, Reggae and Dance music, such as: Warren G & Snoop Dogg, Aaliyah, Ashanti, Boyz II Men, Kool & The Gang, Jimmy Cliff, Liberty X, Missy Elliott, Timbaland and many others. The site also includes the recent worldwide teen buzz ring tone 's8220;The Official Mosquito Tone's8221;.
