As a result, after almost 10 years of working for two major brokerage firms Jim started Gebhardt Group, Inc. "As an independent firm, the Gebhardt Group prides itself on providing choices for busy professionals and their families who are looking to simplify their financial affair," he noted.



In addition to his experience as a Certified Financial Planner, Jim spent almost four years as a surety bond underwriter. As a result, he is also familiar with the unique issues associated with the construction industry. Jim is a licensed Certified Financial Practitioner 's8482; Practitioner, and has attained Series 7; Series 65; Series 31 registrations, as well as a California Life Insurance license.



Jim is a native of Syracuse, New York and earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Economics and Psychology at the University of Rochester. Jim studied at the London School of Economics and also trained in classical voice for four years at the Eastman School of Music. He is an avid golfer and lives with his wife and two young daughters in Lafayette, California.
