Mastermind Groups Will Never Be the Same Again

Master Mind Momentum is a new free online tool for finding like-minded thinkers and organizing and conducting Master Mind group meetings. The site employs the use of messaging, email, audio, video, and chat to facilitate the groups's activities.

The founder of Master Mind Momentum, Glenn Sojourner, said This has been a project I have been thinking about for quite some time. What is interesting is that it is a result of meeting with my own Master Mind group. I travel for business during the week and it makes it extremely difficult to meet on a regular basis. I started wondering how to overcome the scheduling and availability problem and it resulted in Master Mind Momentum.

Members can solicit other members through posting in the Master Mind forum to find others who have an interest in the same definite purpose. Once they have found their core members, they then create their own Master Mind group which allows them to conduct their Master Mind work in a private area using calendars, tasks lists, videos and audio, and track their progress through their Momentum Blog. An option will be for the group to actually conduct their meetings online using video chat with the other members.

Master Mind Momentum is an excellent way for people to find others if they have a difficult time finding committed members, live in an area that makes it difficult to find people with a common interest, travel or someone who just likes to work from the privacy of their own home. Master Minding is most commonly linked to Napoleon Hill'ss 1937 book Think and Grow Rich however he discussed the concept in his two earlier books The Law of Success and The Magic Ladder to Success. In The Law of Success, Hill relates how he first learned of the concept of the Mastermind as it was related to him by the steel magnate Andrew Carnegie who used the concept in his business to build a huge fortune and become the wealthiest man of his time.

Hill took this idea and after interviewing the business, political and entrepreneurial leaders at the time, began his writing which lead up to one of the most successful and often quoted business books of the twentieth century. In Think and Grow Rich he defines the Master Mind as Coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose.

The Master Mind has been further embraced by many successful people as an inner circle or various other terms but the concept still remains the same. They realize that success is not a one-man show and that there is a synergy in group dynamics that can take thinking and brainstorming to a higher level. Jack Canfield, the co-author of the Chicken Soup series of books, says in his book The Success Principles that Master Minding is one of the most powerful tools for success presented in this book. I don'st know anybody who has become supersuccessful who has not employed the principal of masterminding.
