MonsterTRAK to Sponsor Human Capital Institute Innovative Recruitment...

The Human Capital Institute (http://www.humancapitalinstitute.org) (HCI), a global professional association and educator that is advancing the science of strategic talent management, has announced that MonsterTRAK (http://www.monstertrak.com), the division of online career resource Monster focused on the emerging workforce, will sponsor a live, three-city HCI Innovation Tour focused on innovative communications tactics employers can utilize to attract the brightest young talent.

HCI's Innovation Tour, Speak to Me! Innovative Methods for Recruiting the Young and the Restless (http://http://www.humancapitalinstitute.org/hci/events_innovation_tour.guid_trainingID=2068), will include a panel of experts. In Chicago and New York, the event will feature Chris Resto, the founding director of MIT's largest internship and professional development program, the Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program (UPOP), and the lead author of RECRUIT OR DIE: How Any Business Can Beat the Big Guys in the War for Young Talent. In Los Angeles, it will feature Ian Ybarra, co-author of RECRUIT OR DIE and another key player in the UPOP startup. In each city, representatives from respected recruiting organizations, major employers and area universities will also join the conversation.

The networking and breakfast event will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT on Tuesday, June 3 at The University Club of Chicago; from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT on Thursday, June 5 at the Los Angeles Omni Hotel; and from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET on Tuesday, June 10 at the Sheraton 7th Avenue in New York. For full location details and directions, visit HumanCapitalInstitute.org (http://www.humancapitalinstitute.org/hci/events_innovation_tour.guid_trainingID=2068).

"Internet recruiting has introduced a new immediacy and cost-effectiveness to finding promising, fresh, energetic new graduates," said Amy Lewis, director of HCI's talent acquisition community. "But today's tech-savvy youth require messaging that speaks specifically to them. We're pleased to partner with MonsterTRAK to communicate next practices for what to say, and how to say it, to the next generation of talent."

"Innovative communication methods cut through the electronic recruitment clutter," said Mark Charnock, Vice President and General Manager, MonsterTRAK. "Crafting recruitment communications that appeal to young talent is an art and a science that we're eager to share with employers."

The MonsterTRAK-sponsored HCI Innovation Tour is free with advance registration at HumanCapitalInstitute.org (http://www.humancapitalinstitute.org/hci/events_innovation_tour.guid_trainingID=2068), and is recommended for college recruiters and strategic level human resource professionals.
