Odell Simms Associates Inc Hosts Signing Ceremony to Commence Investment...

Odell, Simms & Associates, Inc. (OSA) announced that it will be hosting a dinner signing ceremony on Wednesday, November 30th 2005 to officially commence an investment promotion contract with the municipal government of Chongqing, China. The dinner will take place in New York City at Wu Liang Ye restaurant and will include approximately 14 high level delegates from the region including the Deputy Party Secretary for Chongqing, Chen Juming and Madame Zou Xiaoping, the Bureau Chief of Chongqing, Foreign Investment Affairs.



The contract, beginning on January 1, 2006, appoints OSA to provide free and confidential services to companies in several manufacturing sectors, including the machinery, automotive and motorcycle, chemical, steel and aluminum industries seeking to enter the Chinese market. OSA will assist these companies in their due-diligence process and provide networking opportunities with top-level government officials and relevant companies in the business community in China.



Chongqing is a municipality of 31 million, situated in Western China along the Yangtze River. Like many cities in China, Chongqing strives to promote international investment in the region with substantial support from the central government. The region receives funding aimed at expediting the development of Chongqing including infrastructure improvements and foreign direct investment campaigns.



Chongqing, one of only four municipalities directly under the central government, is the largest metropolis on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the largest industrial and commercial center in southwest China. The city has strong communication capabilities, a sound economic foundation and provides access to highly educated personnel. It is the only city in west China that has the facilities of the gold waterway--the Yangtze River. Located in the Three Gorges Dam area, the city enjoys the special advantage brought about by the development of the dam area. The infrastructure surrounding the dam provides an essential link between eastern and western China. On the axis of potential economic development, Chongqing has the unique advantage of connecting the west with the east and has abundant natural resources.
