Ahmadiyya Muslim Convention in Hampshire UK 40000 Representatives from All Over the World Expected to Attend
The three-day International Ahmadiyya Muslim Association conference will be held at Rushmoor arena, Aldershot, Hampshire from Friday 29th July to 31st July. More than 40,000 representatives from over 80 countries of the world expected to attend. A large contingent from India is expected to attend.
Renowned Muslim scholars will address this UK convention on topics, which are of grave importance to humanity. Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the khalifa and Head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is expected to address the gathering on all three days. Speeches will also be made by distinguished Non-Muslim guests, MPs from UK and African states and special representatives of some Heads of the state.
Some of the topics which will be spoken on by learned scholars will include:
"The Status of other Religions in the Eyes of Islam", "The Holy Prophet's Exemplary treatment of his wives", "The Obedience and Loyalty of the Companions of the Holy Prophet of Islam"(peace be upon him), "The Institution of Khilafat and our Responsibilities", and "Ahmadiyyat in Ghana".
These three days are the period for Ahmadi Muslims all over the world where they gain spiritual training. Moreover, their knowledge is increased by listening to the speeches of learned Islamic scholars. The aim of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is ultimately to establish Peace on Earth. In addition the purpose of this gathering is to review the work done by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community worldwide for the service of mankind. Economic, social and political problems that face the world today and their remedies will be discussed.
Most of the proceedings of the conference will be broadcast live by MTA (Muslim Television Ahmadiyya), a free 24 hour international satellite TV channel available on Sky Digital Channel 807. In addition the proceedings shall be simultaneously translated into several languages.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has been established in 178 countries of the world and was founded in 1889 in a small town Qadian, in Punjab, India. Its founder, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) claimed to be the Promised Reformer of the age. Ahmadiyyat stands for the brotherhood of mankind and tries to establish peace on earth through love, persuasion and tolerance. It is a spiritual organisation and has no political agenda.
