Never Forget a Thing with Free Reminder Service
6Channel6 Inc. has just launched their website, http://www.6channel6.com which offers free reminder/notification services. The service allows a user to remind himself, his contacts, or groups of contacts of upcoming events, and vise versa. People would receive reminders via anyone or all of their communication devices listed below: phone (wired phone, cell phone, and IP phone), email, text message, instant message (AIM, MSN, and Yahoo! messenger) and fax.
Don Dodge, Director of Business Development for Microsoft'ss Emerging Business Team, looked at the site and commented, This service looks very interesting. I like it.
Counselor Hu, owner of the Law Offices of Zhiyu Hu, P.C., found that the service was very useful. He uses it on daily basis to manage lots of appointments such as an important court date. He believed that the service was a good tool to lawyer.
Dr. Cai, owner of the Chinese Acupuncture Center in Princeton, signed up for the service and uses it for appointment confirmation for his patients. The doctor strongly believed that the notification service was easy to use, convenient and effective; more importantly, the basic service is free.
According to Jason Wang, founder and president of 6Channel6, this could be the first time that a mechanism was provided to the public, through which reminders are automatically sent to all personal communication devices people have today.
6Channel6 Inc. has been developing and testing its notification service for more than two years.
