Gifted Education Dream Team to Appear at Colorado Association of Gifted and Talenteds 30th Annual Conference
The Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented (CAGT) will host their 30th Annual Conference Thursday, September 21 through Saturday, September 23 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center, 4900 S. Syracuse St.
The theme of the conference is Expanding the Promise: Gifted in the Global World, and the sessions will be geared toward helping teachers and students look at the world through the lenses of technology, science and math, language, art and creativity.
There will also be a Candidates Forum during the Friday session where Lt. Gubernatorial candidate Barbara O's8217;Brien (Ritter/O's8217;Brien campaign) and Sen. Nancy Spence (Surrogate for Beauprez/Rowlands campaign) will discuss their campaign's8217;s stances on gifted education and other education issues.
On Saturday the 2006 CAGT Gifted and Talented Experience, will feature interactive workshops and activities for teachers, counselors, parents and students.
