4.    Downtime Needed- Some children may need a little quiet time during a busy social event. Set up a 'shaven's such as a separate table with a few simple activities using art materials that you may already have around the house. It'ss smart to offer a calm, quiet place that can serve as a retreat to children who get overwhelmed at parties, says Herman.
5.    Don'st Go It Alone- Don'st be afraid to look to professionals for help in planning and executing the party'ss activities.
