The convention is expected to attract approximately 5,000 attendees. Brue will be responsible for organizing and managing the convention's exhibit hall, which is expected to feature more than 100 exhibitors.
"The NASP annual convention grows in attendance each year," Brue said. "We are fortunate that so many school psychology practitioners, trainers, and students are interested in the continuing professional development we offer. Our exhibit hall is popular because it allows attendees to see the newest assessment tools, books, and software programs from exhibitors from across the United States and Canada."
In addition to teaching courses in the school psychology program at Capella, Brue is also a school psychologist for the Bartow County School System in Georgia.
Capella is the first and only online university to receive accreditation from CACREP (the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) for two master's degree specializations.
