Reallife Angels Receive Assist from Angels on Earth Magazine



Angels on Earth (http://www.angelsonearth.com), a Guideposts publication featuring inspirational stories of angels and miracles, is now supporting the work of real-life angels at the Soldiers's Angels (http://www.soldiersangels.org) military support charity. Beginning in November, Soldiers's Angels will be featured on the magazine'ss Angel Favorites page highlighting the work of Soldiers's Angels and encouraging its readers to join the Angels's wide-ranging efforts in support of deployed service members, the wounded, military families, and veterans.

As an organization, Guideposts supports soldiers through a variety of military outreach programs that are focused on helping to inspire people and encourage a sense of hope by providing Active Duty and Reserve Component personnel supportive sources of strength and comfort.

Colleen Hughes, Angels on Earth Editor-in-Chief is excited about working with another organization committed to supporting the troops. We'sre proud to partner with Soldiers's Angels and to support their work. Guideposts has a long history of recognizing and filling the spiritual and emotional needs of America'ss bravest men and women. We have received many letters from individual soldiers in combat areas overseas appreciating the support, comfort, inspiration, and touch of home from Angels on Earth, Guideposts magazine and other Guideposts publications.

In an additional gesture of support, the magazine is offering discounted yearly subscriptions to service members and any Soldiers's Angels who purchase a gift subscription for a Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine. The discounted magazine subscriptions are available through an Angels on Earth special subscription web page at www.angelsonearth.com/SA. Each time someone purchases a subscription for a service member at a 52% discount through the special web page, Angels on Earth will match that subscription with an additional subscription to a service member through its Matching Gift Program. Donors are also eligible to receive their own subscriptions at the same low discount rate.

Patti Patton-Bader, founder of Soldiers's Angels (http://soldiersangels.org/index.phppage=answer-the-call), and her soldier son Brandon were featured in Angels on Earth several years ago, and Patti is pleased to build on that association.
