Destination Math Dominates eSchool News Awards Riverdeep Courseware...

April 22, 2005 -- Destination Math dominated the eSchool News Readers Choice Awards for Best Math Software. Riverdeep's award-winning comprehensive math courseware scored in the top three in all elementary math and Algebra categories, the only product to do so. The awards were announced in the publication's April 2005 issue.



Destination Math placed in the top three products for Best Software for Teaching Basic Math Literacy; Best Software for Teaching Fractions, Decimals, and Percents; Best Software for Teaching Pre-Algebra; and Best Software for Teaching Algebra and in the top 5 for Best Software for Teaching Geometry. Nearly 900 educators responded to the eSchool News online survey, which asked them which products have enjoyed the greatest success in helping them teach a number of mathematics disciplines.



According to the publication, Riverdeep customers particularly commented on Destination Math's dual focus on instruction, with one educator calling it "'a visual learning tool' that provides engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for students."
