Online charity (www.donorschoose.org) DonorsChoose.org and the Mustaches For Kids campaign are growing strong. Hundreds of men in over 20 cities nationwide have been growing sweet mustaches to support public school classrooms on DonorsChoose.org.
Similar to a charity walk-a-thon, Mustache For Kids challenges Growers to raise pledges for their mustaches during Growing Season from mid-November to mid-December. Growers create online
GivingPages to compete by city, employer, and college for the most dollars raised by their mustaches. All proceeds will fund teacher projects on DonorsChoose.org a nonprofit website
linking donors with classrooms in need.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams (donorschoose.org/RoyWilliams) and NASCAR Driver Kenny Wallace will join the Mustaches For Kids effort, which has raised nearly one million
dollars for children'ss charities since its inception in 1999. Growing a mustache is my way of showing support for public school teachers.I hope you'sll consider donating to a Texas
classroom in honor of my mustache on DonorsChoose.org said Williams.
DonorsChoose.org is a nonprofit website where any public school teacher can post a classroom project request--whether it'ss a set of footballs, a field trip to the zoo, or any resource
that will help students learn. Individual donors, like you, can then choose the specific project you want to support, and you'sll get photographs and thank-you letters from the students
and teacher you chose to help.
DonorsChoose.org is thrilled to have the support of Mustaches For Kids to aid classroom projects on our website. Everyone can make a real difference in the lives of public school kids by
sprouting a 'sstache of their own or supporting the 'sstache of a friend, said Charles Best, DonorsChoose.org Founder and CEO.
Mustache For Kids local chapters provide mustache growing support with events like: Shaving Day; weekly Mustache Checkpoints; and the final 'sStache Bash--a veritable pageant of the
follicle, wherein Growers and their Mustaches are put through a thorough battery of physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges, including the Mustache Haiku and the Mustache
Dance-A-Thon, and one local Mustache is declared to be the Sweetest.

About Mustaches For Kids
Mustaches For Kids is a volunteer-run organization started in Los Angeles in 1999 to help children'ss charities. Since then, Mustaches For Kids has spread across the continent, a steady
expansion that is not unlike the measured, deliberate growth of a mustache. Mustaches For Kids currently has over 20 chapters across the US and Canada, and through the collective efforts
of hundreds of brave young men, the organization has raised almost one million dollars for children'ss charities.
