April 23, 2005 -- The West Philadelphia Child Care Network (WPCCN) is hosting "Spa Day...In the Evening" in honor of National Provider Appreciation Day, a day that recognizes the hard
work of early childhood professionals.
Over 40 Philadelphia Child Care professionals will enjoy an evening of pampering and relaxation at WPCCN's "Spa Day...In the Evening". This free event will be held at the WPCCN office
located on 4117 Lancaster Avenue, in West Philadelphia, on Wednesday May 4th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
Participants will have an opportunity to receive massages, free manicures, free make-up tips and demonstrations, free one-on-one hair care consultations by a professional hair care
specialist and other free or low-cost services.
The purpose of this event is "for us to show all the people who work in the child care profession who feel overwork and under-appreciated that their work is not only appreciated but
essential in preparing today's children to be tomorrow's leaders," says Kweli Archie, Training Coordinator at WPCCN and "Spa Day" Co-Coordinator.
You must Pre-register for this event. For more information, or to pre-register for "Spa Day...In the Evening" call Shar'ron or Kweli at 267-531-5245.
